In a room full of people, we can feel so alone. Everyone around us laughing, succeeding in their goals, and almost seemingly living a far better existence than you. Well guess what you just did? You sent out a vibration that just pushed your goals, happy feelings, and sprinkles further away.
Gratitude
"Just hang in there, it will all get better soon." We all have heard that on numerous occasions, and mainly the time we just did not want to hear that shit. "Calm down," is the least calming affirmation at the time of distress. That is why it is imperative to recognize when you feel your bat loading up for a home run of F-You's and menacing stares that you truly do not mean at the time. Did we forget how temporary life can be? Ask your younger self? Did that heartbreak really kill you? No, it did not. It taught how to keep an eye out on certain people and situations you did not view first time around. That's called, evolving. You already know deep down those circumstances could very well be different. Why not take a second to think of three things in your life you are grateful for RIGHT NOW?
STOP! THINK ABOUT IT
Without breaking it too far down, our bodies are amazing machines of energy. We influence every single thing around us. If we watch a happy movie with an extremely positive scene, we get excited and feel happy right along with the character. Not only can observing feelings be beneficial when down, but you may also notice the domino effect our feelings can create. Father and mother argue, Mother yells at child, child yells at younger sibling, younger sibling cries. All is chaotic.
Asses then distress. Awareness is key to healing. If you don't feel you have a problem, it will stay the course.
NOT IN A HAPPY PLACE? MAKE ONE
Television switches your alpha brain waves into beta, which is basic hypnosis. I've learned this in a few different books and found it interesting and undoubtedly understandable. Think about your latest show binge or the screentime calculated for your time on your social media apps. If we simply give ourselves time to our OWN THOUGHTS, and our own perception of situations, it wouldn't look half bad outside of those black boxes.
Now once you've given yourself a sabbath (sunup to sundown) or heck let's start small with fifteen minutes a day, work on creating your sacred happy place in your mind. Anywhere you want to go, some place you been and just loved so much you could go anytime.
Oh, this is the fun part. So, strap in and enjoy YOUR ride.
I will go into deeper detail at a later date of how to coax your body into a meditative state that even Tigger can get into. If you would like immediate assistance and feel I can do so, you can contact me as well.
